Cucumber harvesting again



Ehem.... I harvested another 2 big cucumbers on last week. They are bigger than the previous batch of cucumbers. I gave one to my friend and another one i stir fried it. Not good. This time my cucumber has a bitter taste ><. Luckily the bitter taste was not so obvious after I removed the peel.Enjoy!

    moii..smart eh.u planted cucumber near fence so that they could climb on it..no need to make trellis...your neighbour didnt 'curi' your cucumber?

    Ahaha....tq tq. No choice, Ummuaidan sis. Do not know where can i get all those kayu as pacang.So, fence is the best choice! So far tak curi. Maybe i always give them the extra :) But i did wrapped the cucumbers using newspaper (prevent both the insert & pencuri) =p

    wah macam mudah je olive tanam tu timun, saya tanam tak pernah menjadi.Apa rasia nya?hehehe..gembira dapat bersama diruang maya ini.

    cantik lah timun u olive. saya punya pokok timun jepun habis diserang kekabuh mentimun (Aulacophora indica) tak boleh nak control dah. tanam berapa pokok?

    Kenapa tak jadi ya...Tapi, i rasa quite easy to tanam timun (macam show off ja..hehe). I hav seem kekabuh mentimun b4 but kat pokok peria. terus i tangkap dgn tangan & picit!

    Tis time langsung tak muncul kekabuh mentimun ni pada pokok timun maybe is not the breeding season?? entahlah but mealy bug yg byk! then, timun aft flowering tu kenalah wrap dgn newspaper to prevent sting by xxxx (not sure call wat..haha)..Tapi, timun tu look good only fr outside,sgt pahit since second batch..

      awal-awal memang serangan sikit je. ada lah dalam seekor dalam 2-3 hari. tapi bila tinggal rumah 1 minggu tengok ada dekat 10 ekor. lebih rasanya. daun pun dah koyak kena belasah. dah la daun sikit je. huhu. tu la ingat nak kena tanam banyak pokok supaya tak kronik sangat serangan pada 1-2 pokok je. ada companion dengan tanaman lain ke olive?

    Wani sis, i tin u kena rajin tangkap kekabuh tu. jumpa satu ekor picit satu ekor. if not makin byk dia beranak. sebab serangga cepat beranak. byk juga companion kat tanaman timun tu sebab i tanam all sort of plant pada satu bed. got passion fruit, pandan, lemongrass, cili padi, betik etc

      no wonder. saya nak try companion dengan banyak pokok juga lah. laman belakang tengah terbiar sebab banyak ulat bulu dan ulat buah yang melompat-lompat macam ulat cempedak tu. mungkin ada buah mangga jiran yang rosak atas pokok atas laman kitorang. tuan tanah terpaksa hold dulu projek menanam. huhu.

    i tanam around 6-8 pokok timun. consider byk juga la kan. sampai skrg masih boleh harvest.. try to tanam lagi. Maybe tis time will b better ^_^
