Plants grow big, and if unpruned, should be spaced 2-3' apart. Tomatillos ripen fruit early. Harvest when the fruit is plump and papery husk splits. Very decorative. Purple tomato take a long time to become fully purple. Keep harvested fruits in the light to intensify the purple skin pigment.
