Chili Oh Chili

Currently, i have 2 type of bird eye chili in my collection. 

One of them is a super hot variety. 

I prefer the less hot one over the super hot.. tak boleh tahan lah.  

Well, it depends on personal liking. 

For those prefer more 'kick', of course they will like the super hot one..

It is good to plant your own chili plant if u are a chili lover. 

You will be surprised by the amount of pesticide that farmers need to put on the plant in order to control the pests. 

This is the reason why my home-grown chili plant keep on attacked by all sort of bugs & insects.

So, beware of the RACUN that you are going to put into your mouth whenever u take chili foods. 

Imagine...in long term, how much will be accumulated in your body...

Colorful Harvests For May 2013

Ladies & Gentlemen, let me present you the most colorful harvests I ever had.

Yes, these were the harvests that I got last month-May 2013.

Very sweet papaya! But the papaya tree wilted & died after that...Sad

3. Happy Sunflower

A tall, teddy bear-type with up to 8" blooms. Branching. Ht. 60-72". Avg. 920 seeds/oz. Like sunny & fertile.

4. Four-o’clock Fragrant Jasmine

Fragrant jasmine, carmine, yellow, white, pink and mixed color flowers with stripes. Excellent in border and pot plant all year around.

5. Columbine or Aquilegia

A perennial garden favorite, blooming late spring to early summer. The attractive flowers are bell-shaped, each with a distinctive elongated spur which makes up most of its appeal. Flower colors come in solids and bicolors, and flower types are single or double depending on variety.

6. Dahlia pinnata

Colorful flowers are 5-10 cm in diameter. Favor to well drained fertile sandy soil and ideal for flowerpot.

8. Classics youth-and-old-age Zinnia

Zinnias are a favorite flower of gardeners around the world, and they are traditional in annual flower beds and borders. With the development of hybrids, zinnias have gained in beauty as well as garden performance. Zinnia prefers full sun and are best suited to warm, dry climates.

9. Straw Flower

Strawflower is a warm-weather annual or short- lived perennial. It produces loads of vibrant 2-3 inch papery pompom-like flowers. Colors include red, yellow, purple, white and rose. The petals are actually bracts surrounding the central disc of florets. The bracts are papery with a straw - like, crackly texture, which is why they are called strawflowers. The flowers are known as an "everlasting" because they will last indefinitely when dried. Blooms over a very long season. The plant is very easy to grow, and it tolerates both heat and drought.
