Remayung Hijau is commonly planted in the backyard gardens of many families in
Malaysia, where it is widely used as a leaf vegetable.
Bayam Malabar Hijau @
the chinese called it as King of veggie (sayur raja) is a fast-growing creeping
vine that likes hot sun.
Its green and thick heart-shaped leaves are glossy,
semi-succulent, mucilaginous texture and have a mild flavour.
Malabar spinach is
often stir-fries with garlic, chili peppers, belacan or oyster sauce.
The
succulent mucilage is known to be rich in soluble fiber and has attracted a lot
